Hello Sanromar, I also have Cerebral Vasculitis, I was diagnosed in June 2010 , had the same initial medication as you for 6 months. Then developed a pulmonary embolism, treated for 6 months with Warfarin, now take 75mgs sol aspirin daily. My maintainance medication is 20 mgs Methotrexate and 9mgs prednisilone ( reducing 1mgm every 2months) .As regards Life Insurance ,I did have 2 policies, but on advice from my Financial advisor , cashed them in ,as they would have affected the amount of inheritance tax ,my children would have to pay( most life insurances don't have a cash - in value). I am a widow and retired, so am probably in a better financial position, as I don't have to rely on a wage. This is probably not very helpfull to you, as I have no suggestions to offer. It's so rare to come across someone diagnosed with cerebral vasculitis, I felt it would be nice to contact you and wish you well. Georgiana.
