I have MPA for the last year and a half , I have a friend who has had antibiotics for pneumonia for the last 3 weeks . I don't want to upset her but am I safe to be in the same room or tell her not to come round ?

Check with the doctor tearing your mpa. My friends and Co-workers know to steer clear of my immune suppressed self when they're sick. They've never been offended (that I know of).

Treating, not tearing! Good luck!

I would agree, keep your distance until you have checked with your doctor who treats you for your MPA. I am sure your friend will understand especially as you will probably be taking some kind of immunosuppressant medication.
