2014 vasculitis diary????

Hi all, I am looking to buy presents for friends and family and this year i decided that ii wanted to buy something on behalf of a cause aswell as a gift.....As i have been diagnosed with vasculitis i thought a 2014 diary would be perfect for everyone - does anyone know if vasculitis UK actually do this?

It's a good idea, but no, sorry we don't. We have looked at this type of thing in the past.

We just aren't a big enough charity to order the quantity of diaries to make them cost effective and to be able to sell them all at a price people would be willing to pay. Same thing with calendars. What we would have to pay for each diary, then add the postage and packing, and people just wouldn't want to know.

Any way of doing these through Vistaprint - maybe they would give better price deals for a Charity?

Our village have just produced a Calendar and I think that was through vista print or something like that! I will check it out.

I'd be interested in buying some calendars!

Why not ask Vasculitis patients to send in photos (maybe of something that cheers them up/ takes their minds off the Vasculitis) to use in the calendars? My photographic club produced a calendar (for about £12 each) which went down a storm.

Another possibility is printing with Snapfish. I have used both this company & Vistaprint for calendars, equally good results.

While talking of printing things, it is possible to overcome vasculitis problems, however daunting they sometimes seem. I have suffered from PMR & GCA for 2 years now & during that time have managed to get 2 poetry books published. The 1st one is amusing poems & the 2nd one a mixed bag: 'Its A Funny Old Life' & 'On A More Serious Note' by J. B. Eden. The cover photos are my own & the publishers have put both books on many websites including Amazon, Waterstones. W H Smith, etc. We do have some good days amongst the bad!

I would love to buy the teddy and pens etc from shop on line but had probs .... is the shop up and running?.diaries might be good maybe with an anecdote on each page...,
