Has anyone been diagnosed with Vasculitis after having a blood transfusion?

i had three transfusions in 1999 after having my son. Last year I was asked if i had recieved a blood transfusion by the team of rheumys. i developed HUVs suddenly in 2010. My urticaria started 9 months after he was born, he is totally clear of the condition. looking at the historic timelineit allfits. My daughter who i had 5 years afterwards is showing signs of inheriting the condition aas she has already developed urticaria. afterthe questions we have decided not to persue any further with our investigation sa we feel it wont change anything and to use our energy on keeping me out of the Resus department.

yes, I had transfusion after a severe haemorrhage after the birth of twins in 2005. diagnosed ccs 2011. Had other autoimmune problems ( joint pain and clotting problem) diagnosed 2003- before transfusion.

My dad a transfusion and within a day he need oxygen and it got worse. At first they said he had pneumonia. The days later he was in intensive care. Five days later after we kept pressing them to investigate further, they found out he had vasculitis. Nine days later, he passed away.

I asked one of the MD if he could have contracted it from the transfusion, she said no. I didn't and still don't believe her.
