Been out today researching marshal and rest stops, as well as the general geography of the walk.

Bloody hell, some parts are a tad steep.

If that doesn't put you off, not long now...

Having now tried a bit of the WW you are not wrong. With 1560 metres of ascent I fear there will be plenty of tad steep bits.

Hi Martyn

I had visions of walking through pleasant low land pastures, where cows and sheep safely graze, walking by pretty streams, and ...... I must have been dreaming. Obviously plenty of rest stops required, and some good sturdy well worn-in booties or sturdy walking shoes, plasters, and plenty of water and Kendal mint cakes (or similar) to keep folks hydrated and full of energy.

Hope everyone has a wonderful time. Don't forget the photos for the Newsletter.
