So my creatinine has jumped up and GFR dropped like 40 points. So I took two blood tests, kidney is not in rejection. I haven’t gotten the results of the second test but it’s to see if the transplant kidney is producing it’s own antibodies. I have had some serious UTI’s which I’m sure is one of the reasons for this situation. Now two new medications have been added, cholesterol and diabetes medicine. I just lost 29 lbs and A1C went up, not down! So frustrating!

Hi, sorry to hear about your latest results - really frustrating and stressful when this happens. With my previous transplant any infection would push my creatinine up easily by 40 - 60 points - how are your inflammatory markers?
Dehydration would also do this.
Well done on the 29lbs👍🏻 not easy with all the meds!
