I received a kidney from my husband in late 2008. He is A pos (group 2) and I am O pos. I had been on dialysis for just under 2 years when the hospital here started doing ABOi transplants. My transplant has been very successful with my creatinine being around 85 to 90 each check-up. I see my specialist every 2 months. It as changed my life. I have polycystic kidney disease and recently had one of my native kidneys removed.
