Tinnitus after ear irrigation

Hi everyone I got tinnitus about 7 years ago after having ear irrigation at my doctors surgery.

I have wax building up quickly so get my eats cleaned every few months and on one occasion the nurse had trouble getting the wax out leaving my ears sore and red and I've had tinnitus since.

Is there anything I can do?

I just use drops or they can be done manually at some surgeries. Caris Lount on YouTube is a young woman with tinnitus who has a high profile so she’s a good option for a bit of support n understanding.

Hi, I also started with Tinnitus in my left ear immediately after ear wax removal by irrigation 15 years ago. I have gradually become habituated to it. I usually only become aware of it during periods of stress. Unfortunately this becomes pulsing in both ears.I now only have ear wax removed by suction, which involves having to attend an outpatient appointment with a Dr at my local hospital in the UK.
