I’m afraid so AngelineCommander as once you get T noises they stay with you forever. Not to worry though as you can distract yourself from the T noises by doing things like having your radio on (not loudly though) and go out for walks xx if you haven’t already done so get hearing aids with masking noises fitted and use apps at night like sounds oasis and Chillax. I find these useful at night in bed when my T noises are loud. You’ll get by as I do. Best wishes and lots of good luck!
strange thing is it was gone this morning but sneaked back in
Tinnitus is like that though! Either you’ve got it 24/7 like me, or it comes and goes giving impression it’s gone for good then comes back with a vengeance! Take care.
well it's it's coming and going then maybe a chance if I keep busy it will go
Yes definitely keep yourself busy and do your best to forget about your T. For me it never goes away but peace of mind is a wonderful thing when I go out walking and get distracted by sounds of nature and traffic.
Hello and welcome to the British Tinnitus Association forum. Do feel free to ask any questions, I hope that you find this a helpful and supportive place to help you manage your tinnitus.
Ear wax removal generally does lead to an improvement in tinnitus, although it can take a few days for the auditory system to settle down.
