I everyone I've had pulsatile tinnitus on and off 2 months ago started getting headaches really bad especially aching in lower back skull by spine went for physio told were tension headaches been to A&E said No red flags so gave me some co codamol seem to do the trick but not ideal as side effects are bad. Went had a hearing test audiologist said I'm slightly deaf in that ear my question is what can I do to mask the tinnitus and what tests should I be pushing for at docs if I can get to see one any advice appreciated thanks in advance.

please start by consulting the website of Tinnitus UK. This gives you lots of information. Some people find that masking helps, some don’t.

It might be worth consulting your doctor but he or she might be one of those that says, basically, there’s nothing to be done about it. This isn’t really very helpful but I’ve seen from many posts here that it does happen.

Don’t believe any “cures” you see advertised - they are just after your money - unless recommended here or by a health professional.

When you say "went for physio" do you mean you saw actual doctors, because your symptoms also happen to be consistent with development of brain tumor and you certainly would want to rule that out, first rule of medicine is do your rule outs and differential diagnosis. But that means checking with a physician since if you check with anybody else then they may be subject to the natural error the same expressed by the idea of a flashlight/torch only being able to detect things the light is actually pointing at, whilst things in the dark are there but go unnoticed because the light is not shining directly at them.
