I had the second Pfizer vaccine on June 10th. I've suddenly realised today that, although my tinnitus is still there, it's not half as intrusive. I can't put the change down to anything else. Has anyone else noticed a positive reaction re: tinnitus and their Covid vaccine?

At last! Someone who has had a positive reaction - I had a feeling there might be some people like you, so thank you for reporting it here. It might give heart to others worried about the jab. As far as I was concerned I was so joyful to be jabbed that the T had to retreat into a corner, sulking.
Good to read that you have had positive effects of the COVID vaccine. My tinnitus has got much worse after the vaccine. It is very loud and intrusive 24/7 and I have still problems with popping my ears.
I am very curious about this. I too have gotten extreme T in the past few months whereas before it was very mild. I had the vaccine and then I also had a psychedlic experience after with friends who were doing it as a part of a therapy for trauma and anxiety. I truly believe that activated the nerves in my ear. I did not notice the TY at all before I had that kind of electrical charge in my brain. I have an AN diagnosed now, but it was unnoticeable before I had the vaccine and the experience - it is like all of that awoke something. What I do know is that I cannot undo it and i am trying to learn to live with it. I like quiet so it is hard. I find myself now also scared when I go to my dance exercise class and the music is so loud and when i have an MRI that is so loud I worry if I am causing further ear damage and hearing loss. I tried on hearing aids and all I heard was louder, not clearer voices. I am in 50's and it just didn't seem to do much for me as everyday conversation I am fine. If it would take the tinnitus away in the left ear where I have the AN I would be all for it though. Please advise.
Kellyc, hearing aids don't take the tinnitus away as such - read the post from purenostalgia earlier today to see his/her experience. Certainly having the aids helped my tinnitus. Also, you say 'take tinnitus away'. There is no magic pill and don't believe any advertisements saying there is!
Have you read the website of British Tinnitus Association? This gives lots of very helpful, researched and impartial information on how you, yourself, can overcome the effects of T.
