Could anyone tell me if they have had a reaction to their tinnitus with having the flu vaccine.

vaccine
I was absolutely fine.
Thankyou
Must admit, I’m more sure what to do about the next Covid jab. Only had T 5 months from loud music.
still feels like early days for me. I can’t believe the impact it’s had on my life and I want my old life back.
Starting to have some good days now, so a bit of progress. I have to mention the great support from members on this site.
That’s good to hear, yes it’s great to know we are not alone and have the support it really helps, and it does get easier over time, wishing you all the best ,
Yes I remember all that. Waking up hoping life was back to normal. Trying anything to make it go away. Crying and angry, feeling very sorry for myself trying to cope with this noise in my head. Wondering if I could live with it . Well I did and its okay . It takes time and it does get easier and less devastating. You will get your old life back , just might have to tweak a few things. Its learning what helps you cope, we all have our own ways . You'll get there.
Thanks, you too
The vaccine has never had any effect on mine over the years - nor did the Covid vax + boosters and Shingrix (for Shingles).
Hi - I had Covid and flu jabs last week and my tinnitus was fine. x
I’ve had Covid and flu jabs, no effect on T. But just as a reminder, have a look at Tinnitus UK website which discusses the Covid jab versus having Covid as an illness, as far as T is concerned. Conclusion is that even if your T is affected by the jab, it’s better than the T after effects if you get Covid. Statistically I mean.
Hi,I have had flu vaccine and I also had the covid -19 Vaccine . Happy to say my T has not been affected. It hasn't gotten any worse and I am learning to tolerate it rather than resent it. Everyone is different but I refuse to let the T rule everything in my life. I actual expose it so that it learns to adapt to noises.
I hope that eases your concerns but ultimately its your decision whether to have the vaccinations or not.
Hope it helps.

Had mine on Saturday and no negative impact on my T at all
Yes temporary spike
Today had the covid and flu jabs .Will report in a couple of days.
Jabs have never affected my tinnitus, regardless of what they were for.
No reaction ever with Mr T , to the covid or flu jabs having had them separately.. However this year I had both at the same time. Won't ever do that again. Felt really ill the next day and rubbish for another 3 days. Tinnitus was ok
Thankyou for the update ,feel confident now to go ahead, but so sorry you were not well ,you will have to have them at different times next ,really hope you are ok now , 😺
Thank you . Yes feeling much better . Problem with the two together , you cant tell which one caused the reaction as they both have similar warnings. Or was it just getting a double dose of possible reactions. However I do feel they have affected my heart slightly . Have a pacemaker and its a bit irregular at the moment. Nothing too bad just uncomfortable feeling.
Sorry to hear you had a bad reaction,I really hope you are feeling better by now,I am having the flu jab at end of this week but will wait a couple of weeks and see how I feel about having the covid vaccine, Thankyou so much for getting back to let me know how you got on,I hope by now you are fully recovered, take care and keep well.
I've never had any problem with any jab, and having spent most of my working life overseas I probably had more than average. You might get the flu shot and the Covid separately rather than together. The only time I've had a bad reaction (not tinnitus or hearing related) was when I decided to get both of those together last year.
