Consultant

Pretty standard for the NHS I would say, possibly even better than normal.
Don't get your hopes up for what the consultation will achieve. They're mostly to just rule out any physical reasons for tinnitus and people invariably get sent away with a couple of leaflets about learning how to relax.

That isn't a remarkably long time to wait for a consultation - this can vary by Health Authority and the provision of care in your area.
As Ruud1boy says, an ENT consultation may be focused on physical causes for your tinnitus like an ear injury, evidence of historical scarring from an ear infection or something of that nature.
How your treatment path progresses might be influenced by if you have hearing loss, what type of tinnitus you are experiencing and whether you have the ability to take up private healthcare at any point. There isn't a cure for tinnitus, so management of your symptoms are likely to be a focus in lieu of surgical or medication-based treatments.
This information leaflet on hospital services may give you a good idea of what to expect - tinnitus.org.uk/tinnitus-se...
