Blue Horizon testing
Ring them up and cancel!
Have a look at this page:
thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
There is a link there to:
Which is Blue Horizon's home testing site. Quite a number of tests are available in that form - but not all. It relies on you doing a finger-prick blood draw and putting a few drops into a small vial. Be warm and wash hands in hot water before trying to do it.
Quite possibly if you ring up they will be able to switch your order over to a home test kit. They are perfectly pleasant to deal with and would rather you happy than not!
If, for some reason, that is not possible for you, then Blue Horizon themselves may be able to make suggestions depending on where you live. So still ring them.

Thanks for your help I will give them a ring and see what we can sort out . Ann
Hi I am told some NHS phlebotomists will do it, yet to meet one! The private hospitals do it but phone first as prices vary. I am told nuffield very expensive. I use BMI Priory , Spires definitely . do it too.Priory no appointment needed but do get a price. If you get it done there take everything with you and ask them to "put it in the bag" then no post as post unreliable, blood nice and fresh that way.
Best wishes,
Jackie
Hi, I had the blue horizon test kit and just went along to the blood test department at my local hospital. They were happy to do it, they did insist on packaging it all up themselves so that they knew it was packaged correctly but I was a happy with that.
Have you tried your local hospital?
thanks for your help, I have been in touch with blue horizon and they are sending me the do it yourself kit.
