Adrenal insufficiency test query.

Endo has included this in bloods, but said it's reasonably likely they'll need to do an additional test. She commented I should try to raise my adrenal secretion before blood test so that that test would be sufficient (ie, step on my toes). Has anyone had the other test? What's it like?

Hi The one I have frequently had via Endo is a 24 hour collection, every drop and a cortisone tablet at midnight and then a blood test , must be at 9 am. Ask the GP because of the cortisone tablet. She is very fussy and thinks this is the best test.Not normally allowed any cortisone even in a local, but I trust her, had several times and I survived!!!
