Yrs I did last year when first diagnosed hypothyroid. I was off work cause of it and basically was threaten with the sack if I didn't return to work before my sick pay ended. I did return but after seeing their oh doctor and I know he put on his report I am now to be regarded on the disability act. I'm not sure what that means exactly but I'm sure it's to our favour somewhere along the line :0)

Hi I to have suffered with repeated water and bowel problems, until I read an article about low ferritin levels, which can cause problems with the above. I had my ferritin levels checked and they were low 38.5. when taking levo. your ferritin levels need to be about 90. I have been taking ferritin and my water infections have been much improved, I'm going to have my ferritin levels checked again soon. It's worth a try. Good luck

Hi yes I went to the doctor and asked for my ferritin level to be checked. The doctor prescribed ferrous fumarate 210mg 1 daily. Not sure I am on enough yet, going to the doctors again to have it checked to see what the current reading is. Good luck
