I had a big battle to get T3. I ended up getting a private T3/T4 blood test and the results were indisputable, that I needed T3 ... I typed out an emotional letter for my doctor but one that contained all the facts to date and gave it to her. she agreed, based on the evidence before hre to prescribe me T3 but said the PCT may have something to say about that, but that my evidence should be enough to convince them also. So far the PCT has not said anything.
