I'm not sure whether this has got worse since my surgeon gave me a diagnosis of cancer, but it's beginning to drive me nuts. I mentioned this feeling to my surgeon, and he said it's normal, but I think it may be getting worse. Any suggestions?

Hemithyroidectomy and now throat feels constricted. Does anyone else have this?
I had this post total thyroidectomy - surgeon said it was just the muscles reacting and would settle but got worse and worse. Apparently it can be a sign of hypothyroidism and mine is improving now my medication dose is getting to the right level. are your blood tests in range?
I don't think I'm balanced but also know I won't be treated until after my next op to remove second half of thyroid, and will be having RAI treatment to follow, so hopefully then, I'll get treatment to level things out.
The only blood test results I have are posted on a previous question.
The most recent one was taken late in the afternoon, and recent posts suggest (I think) that you often get much higher readings from morning blood tests. So had that test had been taken a.m. as the October one was, the difference would be even greater.
Thanks for your reply, it's comforting to know that this tightness is likely to be muscle related - as my fear was that it might be cancer related instead.
Many thanks, Nicky
