Anyone else have this rash...petechiae?

I think that's what it's called, had it a few years now flares up on and off.

Scared it's linked to blood disorders, had full blood count on a few occasions and nothing has come back, some days it's more noticeable than others.

Wondering if's it's linked to Hashimotos?

I don't have hashimoto's but I appear to have petechiae. I been on NDT for a few weeks now and it doesn't seem as bad as it was.

Have you ever had Glandular fever?

Says here can be Mono (Glandular fever) can be a cause

Not that I am aware of....I think swine flu triggered my Hashimotos but I think this rash pre dates that maybe...

I had a lot of bleeding under the skin , like you see sometimes on people on steroids . The name you called it was how It looked .

Since treatment for thyroid , all gone,

I use a steroid cream and wonder if it is linked. Are you taking Levo?

Yes I am on levo plus t3 I have no more bleeding under the skin. Who knows , I think it is. 🙂

Thanks - I have high tsh and low t3. Looking for treatment currently. Did your rash take time to clear with levo?

Think I have Petechiae on my upper arms. Had it for a few months now, however it seems to be getting worse. My white cells are very high so seeing a hematologist on the 29th of this month. 😔

Cant remember how long. Just realised it had stopped happening . I dont think it was that long .

Been on. Levo plus T. 3 since TT nearly 3 yrs ago.🙂
