Iridology & herbal remedies

Further to my query about any successful treatment with Iridology, can I ask if anyone has had UNSUCCESSFUL treatment or any negative experience with Iridology and herbal remedies for adrenal/hypothyoid, please ?

I have tried herbal it wasn't a success for me but I have other health issues so that could be the reason why it didn't work. I have been having acupuncture since I broke my neck 2 years ago and I find it extremely helpful.

Hi Wakeham, Sorry to hear you had no help from acupuncture, each persons body reacts to different treatments in different ways I guess. I find I sleep like a baby after treatment.. I have it done at home and find it very relaxing and soothing.Everything is worth a try when your feeling so awful. Good luck Alfiecat hope you feel better soon. I was told by the Endo not to use Chinese herbs if thats of any help.

Thanks Sandie, Thanks for your comments re herbal remedies - sorry it didn't work for you. As ever with alternative medicine, it's horses for courses - if it works for you, great. My friend swears by it, but it could be coincidence of course, and her body is healing itself and the herbal remedy just happens to be being taken at the same time !

Glad the acupuncture helps your neck - I had it for a thoracic nerve problem, but it did nothing at all for me. Horses for courses again !

Keep well !

Hi Wakeham,

As I've just said to Dancerfromparis, it's horses for courses. Acupuncture didn't help my neck problem either, but if it works for you, it's great..

It's not me who's unwell - I posted originally about my girlfriend who has many Hypothyroid symptoms, including feeling cold all the time, but her tests were all 'normal' in range. In desparation she went to an Iridologist who diagnosed low Adrenals and prescibed some herbal concoction, and hey presto, she suddenly feels so much better and hasn't had the need to hug a hot water bottle even in the freezing temperatures of late, let alone in the summer ! Also, no more hot flushes from the menopause either !

Could just be coincidence and the body is healing itself, but it's a heck of a coincidence - and I'm a sceptic about most alternative stuff !
