Does nutri adrenal xtra affect blood test results?

Does anyone know if taking nutri adrenal extra will affect blood test results. ie TSH or ft4.

Ive had an adrenal saliva test done and mine were very low.

No it won't have any effect on TSH or T3 or T4, but it would affect adrenal tests. What are you doing about your low adrenals? NAX, Vit C, by the bucketload. Licorice? (watch that one)....

nutri adrenal xtra. plus i also take 3000 vitamin C a day. they came back as 13 on my last test so was told that was very low. Ive just had my levothyroxine upped so i worried about stressing adrenals out further. my tsh in last test was over 51 plus ft4 was 7. so that is why levothyroxine has been upped from 100 to 175 but ive felt ill for quite a few years and never felt right on 100.

WoW! TSH over 51.. you're doctor is making a bit of a hash of it all isn't he.... Insist he sends you to an endocrinologist, prefereably one who specialises in thyroid...... I understand there is a list of good ones available. the doctor is a general practitioner, he is not a thyroid expert.

If the cortisol is very low have you been tested for addisons disease? Something definately not right here.......

Hi Nel,

Ive started seeing a private Dr from the UK thyroid list of private doctors. as i felt so very ill. joint and muscle pain being the worst and a whole host of others vertigo hair loss, weight gain, brain fog etc.

I havent been tested for addisons but private doctor felt it wasnt and im hoping that now im on extra levothoxine and supporting my adrenals hopefully things may improve, even if its slowly. At least my GP has upped my levothyroxine so thats something.
