tsh normal, high t4

Just had an annual blood test and t4 level slightly above range at 23. I have had a skin rash on my chest and back for nearly 12 months and doctors do not seem to be able to identify cause.

Just wondering if the rash and elevated t4 levels are connected. I do not feel any other symptoms of high t4 levels.

Can you share your recent thyroid blood tests, plus ranges (TSH, FT4 and FT3)? What dosage of Levo are you taking? How long have you been taking this dose?

Sorry, not taking any meds for thyroid, and only the t4 result available. I think the result was around 23 for t4.

I would ask for the range for FT4 test, as these can vary between laboratories. TSH is usually also taken at the same time.

Just checked on my phone and tsh is 2.8 (0.27 - 4.2), t4 is 23.4 (11.9 - 21.6). No more results relevant to thyroid.

I have to have another blood test in 4 weeks.
