Well, that doesn't sound very logical to me. Sounds like a fob-off. But, I think we'd need to know more about you to be able to help. You don't give us very much info in your profile,, except that you are hypo. In which case it is impossible to go over-active. And those symptoms sound more like hypo symptoms to me.
So, what is your diagnosis? Do you have Hashi's? What are you taking for it? And did they test your thyroid hormone levels before telling you to come off your pills?
hi I’ve been on thyroxine for years since I had a total thyroid removal no I didn’t get a thyroid test before I came off the tablet I have an appointment at docs on Thursday I’m still off my tablet at moment still not feeling great

Well, that is totally irresponsible of your doctor to tell you to stop your levo without testing first. Especially as you have no thyroid! He could make you very, very ill. If I were you, I'd be making a formal complaint about him/her to the practice manager.
I don't know enough about your overall health condition to give a definitive answer, but in general terms....
I was told that the medication had counter acted with my thyroxine and my thyroid had gone over active
That is complete nonsense!
This doctor doesn't understand thyroid function/ medication
A search on the BNF site shows no interactions between Amoxicillin and levothyroxine
Were you ok on levo before taking amoxycillin....if so it could be side effects of the amoxycillin.
Amoxycillin makes me feel very unwell....I have difficulty tolerating any antibiotics
I'm currently on Cefalexin for a UTI.....and struggling!!
Did you take the full dose of amoxycillin? If not, you may still have symptoms of the ear infection which needs treatment
Your levo should be fine
It can take time for side effects to clear....it's not instant!
Have you had a thyroid test recently? What were your levels?

You perhaps needed small dose increase in Levo if amoxicillin was reducing absorption
palpitations pins and needles in my arm feeling of anxiety
These can be HYPO symptoms
GP should have tested before changing your dose
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

If you normally take levothyroxine at bedtime/in night ...adjust timings as follows prior to blood test
If testing Monday morning, delay Saturday evening dose levothyroxine until Sunday morning. Delay Sunday evening dose levothyroxine until after blood test on Monday morning. Take Monday evening dose levothyroxine as per normal
I’ve taken Amoxicillin many times with no ill effects. There’s no documented interaction that I’m aware of.
Everyone’s different though so this may be an antibiotic that you wish to avoid if it’s affected you in this way.
I’ve read the other replies in this thread and think they make good sense. It’s probably another issue which is causing problems with Levo
