I have had RA for the last 20 yrs and PMR last 2 yrs. Also told fibro. Can anyone tell me about what antibody tests I should ask for. I know about TPO but I believe there are more but can't seem to find them.
Thank you.

Anti-Tg is the other - Anti-Thyro-globulin. There is a possibility for Hashimotos as you also have RA. Your B12 is obviously good from reading your other posts. How is your VitD ? - or did I miss that one
Hi Marz, Doc, wouldn't test D so sent away for fingerprick test at Birmingham. Came back adequate , but I did a bit of googling and found it wasn't according to other web sites. Was on Adcal but have been told to stop by rheumy consult as high Ca. Am now self dosing D3 1,000 IU 3 x day as I am virtually house bound.
After only 4 days feel marginally better in the walking.
Thanks for the Anti-Tg reminder. (
Has you GP not seen the letter that was sent out to all Health Practitioners by the Chief Medical Officer of health ? It states who should be tested - will send you the link when I find it.... Glad you are self treating as it help with so many conditions....
gov.uk/government/uploads/s...
I personally think anyone with a chronic condition should be considered for testing don't you....
Yes I totally agree, a good link, thanks. I am not going to push doc for that at the moment though, need the thyroid tests more urgently, feel I am going to have a fight on my hands.
Why does life have to b e so tedious?
