My Functional Dr has ordered some tests to be done. Thyroid Profile 2 and D102 DNA test. I would appreciate a reminder on the best time to test, and as I take my thyroxine in the evening, should I leave a gap between taking it and the blood test Thanks

Rules on Thyroid testing

I doubt anyone here knows what is meant by "Thyroid Profile 2" - that would appear just to be a name used by a company for their set of thyroid tests. I don't think it is a standard set of tests.
I take my levothyroxine in the evening/bed-time. And last test I had, I took half my dose at my usual bed-time, and the other half in the morning after my blood draw. We can never be absolutely sure, but I think it reflected by actual status quite well.
And the other test is DIO2 (dio2) - three letters and a number. This is important if you want to search for information. The name comes from "deiodinase" - the enzyme, and the gene which codes for the enzyme.
It would be unusual for a gene test to be taken at any particular time.
It is never-endingly depressing that your functional doctor can tell you what tests are appropriate, but fail to advise on things like timing. It should be completely standard for the doctor to tell you and pass you a piece of paper, or some electronic communication as a record and to be able to refer back to.
