Hi,Please can someone help me in knowing what supplements to take. I'm on Levothyroxin 100mg. Not sure what vitamins I should be taking 🤔.

Thank you in advance for replies.

Have you had any tests which could indicate a need for particular vitamins and other nutrients?

For example, vitamin B12, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin D, iron (several tests), selenium, etc.

It is all too easy to find ourselves taking excesses of supplements - potentially having negative effects.

I appreciate that most of us have had few such tests, and even those who have had quite a number will find gaps.

You could test vitamin D yourself now

Test twice yearly when supplementing

Can test via NHS private testing service

vitamindtest.org.uk

Request GP to test folate, B12 and ferritin when you retest thyroid in 6-8 weeks after your recent increase in levothyroxine to 100mcg
