Your last post 4 months ago re thyroid levels said you are on high dose levothyroxine and T3
I'm now on 200mcg of Levo and 40mcg of T3.
Have you retested since increase
Do you always get same brand levothyroxine and T3
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test
What vitamin supplements are you taking
What are most recent vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 results
As it happens, I've had a test today and I followed your guidance. Is is okay to take my mental health drugs before the test?
I have retested twice since that dose you noted. My T3 is stable at 5.0 (31. - 6.8 range). Three months ago my T4 was 11.6 (12.0 - 22.0) so my Levo was increased to 225mcg. 6 weeks ago T4 was 12.3, so a further increase to 250mcg Levo.
I always keep to the same brands.
Vitamin supplements are B complex, B12, & D
I have stabilised recently. I just need to sort out my anxiety and brain fog in the mornings. I feel that's more likely to be mental health drug related.
