Your GP / lab is only testing TSH.

You have no where near enough information to find out what’s going on.

Your endocrinologist may have done further tests & really should have investigated why you hyper. You may have to go records department of hospital to see what was tested.

How long were you referred to endo? & were you hyper for long? Weeks / months? If levels fell naturally it might be they are now too low. TSH isn’t reliable.

Your GP can test initial thyroid antibodies (TPO).

Look at private test for FT4 & FT3. Key nutrients should also be tested.

Is GP not investigating weight loss?

When I mention my weight loss the GP says that it is in the range for my BMI (I am a mixed white and black Caribbean woman who is 5ft8 and went from 16stone to 13stone in essay than 3 months without trying to lose the weight).

I was not in endo for long, I can't afford private testing.

Not what you're looking for?
