I am in need of a reputable supplier for t3 tablets.
I'm on Eutirox, (levo) but need to supplement with the t3.
Not able to get them over the counter or prescription in Spain, so I guess it will have to be an internet site or in the UK.
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. TY
You wont be able to get T3 in the UK, it's prescription only and that is set to be removed.
If you post your latest thyroid results and give some background then members are more likely to share their precious sources of T3. They can also help with suggesting whether or not you need to adjust your dose of Levo when taking T3.
Have spoken to my GP, and she is happy for me to take 25mcg with my Levo. Just can't get it in Spain unfortunately! x
She may be happy for your to take 25mcg T3, but does she know that it should be started low and increased slowly? Does she know that you need both FT4 and FT3 results, tested at the same time, to see whether your Levo needs reducing? T3 is quite potent so you can't really just jump in at 25mcg.
I had my bloods done again a few weeks ago, and it is based on that. You think it's too much?
Impossible to say without seeing the results. But it's usual to start T3 with 6.25mcg and build up gradually.

As I said, your pharmacist can import it from France. It will cost €5-€6 for 100 x 25mcg from France but buying online will cost €21+.
25mcg T3 is equivalent to 75mcg Levothyroxine. Most people start with 6.25mcg to see how they tolerate it and increase to 12.5mcg after a couple of weeks if necessary and then retest FT3 after 6-8 weeks to make sure FT3 remains within range.

I am hypothyroid, on 100mcg of Eutirox (Levo) in Spain.
Been on this @ 2 years, but still feel something is lacking - apart from the unwanted excess weight that has appeared from "nowhere"!
Looking for a legit. supplier of t3 tablets, not extortionately priced.
Doctor would prescribe for me, but Spain does not have t3 in it's pharmacies :0(

Your pharmacy can use the prescription to import Liothyronine from France. I think 25mcg Sanofi Aventis Cynomel is the usual French T3.
