Changing my brand

Hi I've been a member for many years ,I'm now back with a problemThe doctor said it would be better to take 1 pill instead of 4,they have me on a hundred per day.

I used to have teva and fell into the withdraw of teva years back,my gp were asking me are you sure your taking your meds,as my results were not good.

Of course hadn't a clue of the recall

And I was still being prescribed them.

By doing research I found the withdrawal.

I tried several makes ,which I had side effects with all, then I was given wochurt and all was fine,my body does react to meds badly.

My new GP as mentioned instead of taking 4x25mg I could have teva

I've been having very high blood pressure 200 on 2 occasions.

Visits to A&E.

It steadies then peaks they've tried me on 4 types of blood meds with horrendous side effects, I've now refused.

Back to teva since 1 week of taking yesterday after 1 hour I experienced a drop I felt so ill,and very weak.

Plus I'm constipated on doing my blood pressure it was 175over 80.

Later it did come down to 145 over 80.

But still felt unwell I've asked for my old wochurt back.

I am paylori positive so suffer badly at times with flares I can't tolerate the antibiotic therapy.

I'm awaiting another endoscopy.

As 2 years ago I was admitted with internal bleeding ulcers hospital didn't that me for this whilst in hospital,I needed a transfusion and iron infusions never been that well since.

Have to stick to a diet I've researched or its awful.

It was their neglect, as a dacillianoctor wrote to them I was still ill after discharge.

2 months on a letter came about the triple antibiotic eradication.

Which as explained I can't take ,I had lansoperole, metronidazole, and omoxicillian.

And no guarantee it works.

But it seems the new brand are having a effect.

Any views on this please.

Thankyou.

Perhaps worth asking to swop to Vencamil 100mcg (as many struggle with Teva due to excipients) and then you can always split the tablet into quarters if you prefer

Any thyroid blood test results to share with us?

There’s a possibility you’re undermedicated which could be the reason you’re struggling to tolerate the medication for your H Pylori. When you posted a few months ago you said your Vit D was low, which may be a sign that you’re under replaced for your hypothyroidism.
