This time the chemist gave me Teva, after only 2 days i started feeling shaky and my heart is pounding fast,it's like i'm in constant anxiety.
I was on the Uni-pharma T4 before (everytime i visit Greece i bring supplies) and i was feeling great.
I called the pharmacy and we ended up fighting as he was insisting that in his 25 years career never heard such side effects etc etc,at least they will swap it with the Mercury one which i tried in the past without bad effects (except some fatigue).
I read people complaining about Teva but can it be so bad after 2 pills?

Sorry didn't mean to end post then. It wasn't until I changed pharmacy and they gave me mercury did I understand it was TEVA that was causing me to feel so very ill. It was a very frightening time. The side effects I experienced were so severe . Thank God I decided to use another chemist . I endured 3 months of HELL. I was put on TEVA when I was first diagnosed so I didn't know what to expect with thyroid. GP didn't pick up on it either.
Hi I have seen a lot of comments on other forums about Teva. Would urge you to yellow card how you feel. The different brands do have different fillers and patients do have different reaction. Strictly we should be rested on each brand change. When I was on Levo I had a note on my file which said only a certain brand. Hope you feel better soon.
That's interesting. I wonder if it applies to T3 as well? I have been feeling very shaky since starting T3 but don't know if it's the brand or the hormones affecting me.
Thanks for that SlowDragon . Are there any meds that have not got acacia powder in them! I thought I had checked excipients in B-Complex and have just taken one only to find that I missed that it has got acacia in it. Aargh! i now feel very weak and have been coughing so much that my chest hurts. It really is awful stuff.
Thank you all for your replies but can you judge a drug (brand) whether it's good or not without a trial period first?
And if there are so many people with bad experiences on Teva why is it still available on the market?
Honestly i'm feeling so scared that i will order from Greece enough tablets to avoid situations like this as Uni-Pharma never made me feel so bad the last 10 years.
