I've been on Carbimazole for 6 weeks and I'd say the last 10 days been feeling low, tired, anxiety has really increased again. I had been feeling better so feel a bit gutted
Had my 6 week bloods done yesterday and know I'm hypothyroid. See results above.
This result doesn't show TPo antibodies which were more than 1300 in bloods 6 weeks ago.
I know I'm not that low from the range but I do feel really rubbish.
What can I expect then to do? Reduce the carbimazole? Or ask me to stop completely
TIA

in my case they reduced the anti thyroid medication ( I was on ptu as I had hives on carbimazole). I became hypo around maybe 6 weeks after starting treatment. I was back in normal range at my next blood test.
I think your diagnosis will be for Hashimoto's - an Auto Immune thyroid disease which is not medicated with an Anti Thyroid drug as the hyper phases are transient and the T3 and T4 fall back down into range by themselves.
However overtime with various swings and hyper type symptoms your thyroid will become damaged and less productive with you becoming hypothyroid and needing thyroid hormone replacement - initially T4 - Levothyoxine.
I believe you need to stop the AT drug and allow your body to recover its normal thyroid function which hopefully sees you well enough to enjoy the new addition to your family.
Your TSH should hopefully return to around a 1.2-1.5 reading with your T3 and T4 around mid point in their ranges.
