this is more so for the real educated low dose naltrexone folks bc it involves biochemistry. I’m a woman and every time I’ve gone on LDN now it raises my testosterone due to its effects on the HPA axis (namely acth/cortisol and therefore the downstream hormones). Has anyone else experienced the same?

No, have been on LDN for lupus since 2018 or thereabouts, also on Liothyronine for Hashimoto’s/hypothroidism, and because I’m on HRT for menopause my hormones are checked regularly. This has not occurred. Or, as far as I know it has not: if it did occur, my doctor would no doubt reduce the testosterone dosage of the gel I rub on as part of the HRT. It’s essential to have regular lab checks when on thyroid and HRT medications, and tweak the dosages to keep in optimal ranges. But so far this has not occurred and it’s been more than six years for me. 🤷♀️
sorry to hear this. Are you getting any symptoms from it? Has it at least reduced or got rid of your thyroid antibodies?
