I've recently had lots of very helpful advice regarding a question I had about iron levels (BIG thanks to everyone who replied!), and, as a result, I'm logging my daily iron intake to try to get a clear picture of how much I take in through diet, without supplementing.
I came across this reference website, which I consider to be an excellent resource for information about about the components of many food stuffs. In the UK we do not have iron information on food labels, so I've found the information available here very useful and I thought I'd highlight it, in case it might help anyone else with the same level of inquisitiveness as me!
helvella's Links and References document contains many links to other organisations
A single document containing numerous links to relevant websites. With a focus on the UK it nonetheless includes many non-UK sites.
Rather than a simple list of links, there is a page (or more) per site. This is intended to provide some flavour of the site before you decide whether to visit.
I wasn't sure if it had maybe been referenced before... but I couldn't find it in any search of this forum (although I know that doesn't necessarily mean it's not there somewhere!).
Having read a post or reply you have made, I wonder if you realise that you can edit (or delete) any posts or responses you have made here. That means the title, the text or images.
This is not to say you have done anything wrong. This is meant to help you by pointing out this option, and help to do so, not to criticise.
There is no need to reply to this! If it was helpful, ticking the "Like" button lets me know.
