Advice on cutting Armour tablets

Dear all, this forum has been so helpful to me in my journey from levo to Armour, so I’m hoping you can help me again!

I have been prescribed 1.5 tablets of Armour and have an issue cutting the tablet in half. I have bought the best tablet cutter on Amazon, but it still crumbles the tablet instead of cutting it, so I waste a lot of medication this way, which is annoying as it’s so expensive. Has anyone got any advice on how to achieve those perfect halves?☺️

Thank you so much in advance!

Either buy the half size 30 or cut with a sharp craft knife either of these would work for you.

I cut my tablets every day with a craft knife.

I have to cut mine into 4! I tried several different pill cutters but the best is a craft knife. It saves so much money as buying 1/4 is nearly the same price as the 1gr. If I lose the odd one it’s still a massive saving.

Just bite it, less crumbling!

I have to cut mine too. I got a scissor type pill cutter on Amazon and it works well.

It is very easy to just snap the armour tablet between your 2 thumbs. It comes out just about even halves.
