Hi,

I wanted some advice on how to take three arrows iron repair.

According to the calculation, i need between 3 and 7 capsules a day. Is this correct? Also do i need to take them daily?

My ferritin was 30 back in March but i know it's dropped as I'm feeling the effects and my hair is falling out like crazy 😞

Fyi i have hypothyroidism and Hashimotos

Thanks

Ferritin measures stored iron but you need to test iron before attempting any self medication.

I wouldn't take more than 2 a day as it is very effective, have you some recent iron panel results to share?

I agree. In fact, I’ve improved my ferritin on 1 capsule a day.

Would reiterate the importance of doing iron panel, iron overload can be dangerous. I’ve always had to do this privately (finger prick).

what were most recent full iron panel test results

Never supplement iron without doing full iron panel test for anaemia first and retest 3-4 times a year if self supplementing.

It’s possible to have low ferritin but high iron

Test early morning, only water to drink between waking and test. Avoid high iron rich dinner night before test

If taking any iron supplements stop 5-7 days before testing

Look at increasing iron rich foods in diet

Eating iron rich foods like liver or liver pate once a week plus other red meat, pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate, plus daily orange juice or other vitamin C rich drink can help improve iron absorption

I got mine up from 40 to above 100 on 1 a day for 6 months. It’s strong stuff, be careful 🌱
