Hello all,I posted on here a few days ago but no response. I need a supplier for levothyroxine without prescription, ideally where I can specify Accord.
My GP has dropped me back to 25mg and I need 100mg tablets. I was using one supplier for "emergency supply" but they have said I need a new prescription now and won't dispense further.
Help!

Not being rude, why don't you get some bloods done and get a prescription? Some members use Roseway pharmacy rather than their GP. Some members see private GPs or endos
Get bloods done regularly. Last private gp had same attitude as NHS GP and refused to prescribe 100mg. Looking for a simpler solution rather than needing a battle every month. I will look into Roseway.
Yes I've found a number of online UK pharmacies who offer a prescribing service, but if they stick to the TSH script they may be unwilling to prescribe. Still worth a try though. What were your latest bloods like.
Also as RedApple says, specifying a particular brand might limit your options somewhat, obviously worldwide suppliers have access to different brands than the UK.
Personally and no disrepect to anyone who uses Roseway, I do myself for LDN, but imo its not worth the expense of seeing a private prescriber for Levo. Levo is so cheap and most people can manage their doses without medical supervision.
I dont think the cost of a consultation, plus the ongoing costs of a private prescription are justified for Levo, when you consider how cheap it is. I can understand going private for NDT, T3, but not Levo. I've always thought those who want an increase in Levo are better off sourcing it themselves.
To be able to specify Accord brand, you will need to purchase through a UK pharmacy, as Accord is a UK brand which is unlikely to be available without prescription.
There are some online UK pharmacies that offer an online prescribing service, where you fill in a questionnaire and they then prescribe (or not) at their discretion.
