Buyer Beware: Online Semaglutide Purchases Not as They Seem

There have been a few members here in recent months discussing or asking about Semaglutide for weight loss. We also know that scammers lurk here on the forum, waiting to take your money for both thyroid and weight loss medications.

' "There is a strong market opportunity to introduce counterfeit and unauthorized versions of semaglutide. Counterfeiters will continue to innovate with where they sell products, what products they offer, and how they mislead consumers about the safety and legality of what they are offering online. We are likely just at the beginning of counterfeiting of semaglutide, and it is likely that these false products will become endemic in our supply chain."'

Since getting my thyroid meds bang on, I have lost 2 stones, with very little effort. For those of you considering fat jabs or weighloss surgery...from my investigations, they are not 'solutions' without challenges. Do look at the downsides (awful resting bitch face, excess skin, loss of pleasure in small things, to name but the three I'd most worry about)

I'd be as concerned about other side effects, constant nausea, diahorrea, stomach pain, dumping syndrome, when you eat too much sugar. Sweating, low blood sugar. Honestly I understand why some people are so desperate they'd literally sell their soul to be thinner, but the potential side effects sound awful. Plus theres also reports of excessive rebound hunger when you stop.

“awful resting bitch face” I want to laugh but it’s tickling me what you might actually mean. Do you mean drooping face from our former false plump and healthy looking faces due to our mucin? Unfortunately the little weight I have lost (not semaglutide) has shown right there. However I am getting on a bit. I hope younger women are not getting this.

My tweakments/surgical enhancements mad hairdresser told me about fillers for your cheeks. They hoik your face back up, so one's jowls disappear. She tried it for me 'don't know if you'd like it, Raps., you can feel the needle scaping your cheekbone...maybe try the cheek implant that they administer through your eyes?' 😱

I'm proud of my jowls. They mean I'm getting older and that's better than being dead, no?

WOW that sounds horrendous. It’s bad enough thinking about any stuff you might have to have to save your life. It’s a big divide this stuff. The rich and famous and the fairly poor think this is great thing. I don’t think I am proud of my jowls as such but I can put up with it. Maybe. I feel very uncomfortable watching movies with people who have had surgery, even just pumped up lips. It’s kind of obscene because many of them just don’t know where to stop.
