feeling unwell again

Hi all- thanks in advance for any help. I’ve not been feeling well recently following a period of pretty intense stress. I am currently on 75 Levothyroxine sodium microgram tablets. I had a private blood test done results below done following protocols:

TRIODOTHYRONINE

29/07/2024

3.6 pmol/L

FT3 levels normal (normal range 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L)

THYROXINE

29/07/2024

14.8 pmol/L

FT4 levels normal (normal range 12 - 22 pmol/L)

THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE

29/07/2024

3.93 mu/L

TSH levels normal (normal range 0.27 - 4.2 mU/L)

Doctor said that the finger prick test not accurate and wanted bloods done at surgery . I’ve not had thyroid results back yet (which is a bit strange and they normally come back quickly) but he requested other tests and a couple look low on the results. Can any one help with interpretation?

Lymphocyte count:

1.48 10*9/L

Normal range:

1.50 to 4.00

Total white cell count:

4.71 10*9/L

Normal range:

4.0 to 11.0

Serum folate:

3.2 ug/L

Normal range:

2.4 to 17.5

Have some others that are in the low range but satisfactory but these are the lowest.

I think you're probably ready for a dose increase. Your T3 and T4 are really low in range and your TSH is high. Should be aiming for around 1 when in thyroxine. Not sure about your other bloods but might be worth getting your vitamins tested.

Well your folate is low.

But let’s wait for the new thyroid bloods.

Based on your past posts, it looks like you were 75 Levo for a while and were top of range on that.

So your bloods above show the opposite so it’s hard to say.

Can you confirm all blood tests were taken by standard protocol and how many hours last Levo dose was for each?
