My prescription was increased from 50 to 75 mcg so I was switched from Accord to Teva which is available in that dosage .
I have just received my renewal and the manufacturer is Crescent Pharma which seems similar to Accord as it has no Manitol.
Just wondering if anyone has been switched to this manufacturer as I haven’t seen any posts or feed back . I don’t want to be changing manufacturers every month !

We have no idea about continuity of supply as it is so new.
And sometime soon (possibly August) we are expecting Aristo Vencamil to become available in 25, 50 and 75 - in addition to its existing 100 microgram dosage.
helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. There is now a specific world desiccated thyroid document.
I highly recommend viewing on a computer screen, or a decent sized tablet, rather than a phone. Even I find it less than satisfactory trying to view them on my phone.
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines - UK
The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrixes for levothyroxine tablets, oral solutions and also liothyronine available in the UK. Includes injectables and descriptions of tablet markings which allow identification. Latest updates include all declared ingredients for all UK products and links to Patient Information Leaflets, etc. PLUS how to write prescriptions in Appendix F.
Contains details of all known desiccated thyroid products including information about several products not considered to be Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT/Desiccated Thyroid Extract/DTE).
Contains details of all levothyroxine, liothyronine and combination products - excluding desiccated thyroid products. Details available vary by country and manufacturer.
The link below takes you to a blog page which has direct links to the documents from Dropbox and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones. You will have to scroll down or up to find the link to the document you want.
You could try a Google site search, for example enter this (the text in the image, below) at Google.
From the Tools menu on the Google page you can restrict results to the past month, for example. For some reason, it didn't find helvella's New Crescent Levothyroxine post, linked above.
An example of text to enter for a Google site search of ThiroydUK.
No - I'm afraid every manufacturer has a different formulation. And many of us have no real understanding why one is better than another. A lot of it is guesswork - even if based on very real reactions/experiences.
I have also been put on 75mg manufacturer Cresent from 50mg manufacturer Accord/Almus last Thursday and feeling awful. Teva also made me feel awful. Accord/Almus do not make 75mg or 25mg. I felt so well with Accord until recently feeling exhausted my levels had increased substantially due to alot of stress. The ingredients are different between manufacturers which make us feel unwell which I have to keep reminding the surgery pharmacy but keep being told they cannot buy specific medication for each patient this makes no sense when it makes people unwell!
@Stony2, I've also just received my renewal and part of it is Crescent Pharma, even though I specifically tell the GP practice and the pharmacy each (expletive) time that I only do well on Advanz Mercury or Wockhardt. Hebe1 I also refuse to take Teva (major hair loss, extreme heart palpitations, etc.) so, based on your experience, Crescent Pharma may be problematic. I'm interested to hear how you both get on, if you don't mind? I'll also post an update in due course.
