Strides Liothyronine

Strides Liothyronine became available on 29/11/2023.

We had a handful of members mention it. More recently, however, it has been noticeable by its absence - hardly mentioned at all.

Do any members get it dispensed? Or has it effectively disappeared?

(Still listed on the official sites so should technically be available. I want to check before I contact Strides to ask what is happening.)

Still trying to find t3 I rang morning side and was told there was no shortage. She said they had delivered some yesterday after checking my area but they said that before when there was a shortage and it took a while for it to be back in pharmacy.

It is so difficult to find a way in to a) get the proper story; b) know who to push to do more.

And even a day or two while something is in transit could result in different stories from each end!

I know it is very frustrating, I even asked the pharmacy if they have advanz pharma or can they get it and teva and to both she said no so I will have to do more phoning on Monday. It is scarey as well if I have to do without because thats going to make me unwell.

Thank you for that, I have just rung them and the girl I spoke to thinks the brand has to be written on the script which my hospital dr refuses to do but I’m to ring back tomorrow to speak to the person that deals with all that. It is a nightmare..

If you want thybon henning you will need to complete a form justifying why you need thybon henning brand and not another one. This is because since we left the EU it is classed as an unlicensed medicine.
