Hi,

I’ve recently been diagnosed with overactive thyroid, currently waiting for Carbimazole meds prescription to be delivered. I’ve had a bad few days recently with my usual symptoms, I was wondering if I should contact my advanced nurse practitioner at the hospital.

so yes - I think you should contact the hospital as to getting your prescription filled :

Hi , no, I was only prescribed them last Monday,.

I have my medications delivered.

I was notified that the carbimazole was packed ready for delivery on Friday, post man has been today but no meds

Well maybe phone the hospital pharmacy department to check it's gone -

and explain you haven't received them and getting anxious -

could your primary care doctor write an emergency script for you today - if you are able to collect it locally ?
