Should I stop Ferrous Fumarate before Blood Test?

Hi,

I was prescribed Ferrous Fumarate after my last bloods showed very low in ferritin levels (I'm Hashi's).

I'm due my follow up routine blood test for thyroid levels and ferritin / iron next week. Do I need to stop taking the Ferrous Fumarate ahead of the blood test?

yes ….stop iron supplements 5-7 days before testing

Test early morning, only water to drink between waking and test. Avoid high iron rich dinner night before test
