Tsh 12.5 miu/lT4 16.4 pmol/l

Both have improved since my last thyroid blood test but these past few weeks I have shortness of breath and pain in my neck. Could this be down to my t4 been too high even though its within range. Thanks

How much levothyroxine are you taking

How long at that dose

What’s the range on Ft4

Was test done early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Sorry for the late reply I've had no Internet. I am taking 150mcg of almus levothyroxine daily.I have been at this dose consistently now for 4 months

The range is a bit difficult to understand as I am reading it off my patients forum online and there seems to be two. So my reading was 16.4 pmol/l ( 10-18.7 ) but then at the bottom of the page it says normal range 4- 27 pmol/l

The test was done around 2 in the afternoon with no fasting and my levothyroxine taken around 7am that day .

Test done around 2pm and you took levo around 7am? You wasted your time and money on this test. Test MUST be done before 9am and no levo for 24 hours before the test. Next time, bring your levo with you and take it after your blood test. I always test between 7:30am and 9am.

I did do this on my latest blood test , I will put the difference in results up soon . Thanks for the reply
