Finally! 12 months to get to 100mcg

Dahliasanddaisies profile image

Just a little celebration really, I feel quite emotional sitting here with my Levo.

12 months ago I was diagnosed subclinical and thanks to this forum I've kept going even. Without you lot, I'd probably still be stuck on 25!

Just keeping my fingers crossed that this dose increase finally helps me to feel better (along with all the other supporting bits)

Ps, I Had to go private for this dose increase (3 x GPs at the surgery said no as my TSH in range).

Substandard treatment of thyroid disease by the NHS is scandalous really - but goes on and on.

Good luck with your continued treatment 😊

Hi Hand, yes unfortunately it does. The GPs I have spoken to..I think 4 of them, genuinely don't seem to have a clue. They are obsessed with TSH. To be fair the last one I saw said she doesn't know anything about thyroid problems apart from keeping the TSH in range..it seems that is all they are taught.

Thank you :)

Great news 👏 If you are liking Aristo be sure to get your script updated to Vencamil which is now the name for Aristo T4 🤗

Thanks Tigger, I'll see how I get on. I've been. Taking Accord, so I'll see how I feel on Aristo :)

As you are dairy free Aristo should suit you better, as it’s lactose free
