Advice on lump

I previously put a post on here about a lump I’ve got. I currently am on 150mg thyroxine, I’ve also done the radiation drink. Also had the surgery to remove goiter. I went to the doctors, with this lump, also one mirgraine after another, went to the doctors, saw the nurse the first time, showed her the lump, which is level with collar bone, middle of it. The nurse said,” ignore the lump, don’t look or touch it,” then checked my chest and ears. I had a chest infection and red ear. I had to say to her, “what about the lump,” She then said, “ have the antibiotics, the cough might be causing the lump,” I wasent even coughing much. Had to go back after medicine was finished.

went back a week later explain to another nurse, who fetched the doctor, they both said they couldn’t feel it, they gave me a nose spray and said, it might be a drip from your nose or something causing it. The lump is still there, how they can’t feel it I don’t understand, everyone else can, they can see it. I’m being hounded by my family to go back. I also especially at night have this feeling where it is that something is around my neck. What do I do. I’ll put a pic on of where it is.

Make another appointment

Politely insist on an ultrasound scan and FULL thyroid and vitamin testing

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

what vitamin supplements are you taking

What were last thyroid results?

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing

Medichecks Thyroid plus BOTH TPO and TG antibodies and vitamins

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold includes BOTH TPO and TG antibodies, cortisol and vitamins

Only do private testing early Monday or Tuesday morning.

I have a lump on the lower side of my neck …. You need to see Endo and not a nurse.

I’ve finally got an appointment with Endo on 29th May with my lump, went back to the docs, saw a different doctor but same nurse. On my notes she’s put that my lump wasent mentioned last time, even though further down on my notes it says about it, and with a picture that I sent, right back to when I first told them on March 4th took 3 attempts. What annoys me is, on the tv it says you know when your body doesn’t feel right, to go. What’s the point when they don’t listen. 3 attempts to get it sorted.
