Hi again, Can anyone advise what vitamins to take now as a pregnant hypo/hashis. I just want a pregnancy multivitamin but I have been taking a plethora of separate vitamins but am now too scared to to take any of them apart from folic acid and vitamin D. Any advice would be great. I’d ideally like a multivitamin but I’m scared of them due to iodine and biotin content but can I just take something like pregnacare or zita west?

I was taking separate supplements before pregnant which were:

Ferrous fumerate

VitvD

Folic acid

Codliver capsules

B- complex

Curcumin

NAC

Zinc

Magnesium

Selenium

MYOINISITOL powder

L- glutathione powder

Aloe Vera shots

any advice would be great

Thanks

Congratulations! I took the pregnancy multivitamins from Natures Best (can’t imagine they’re too different but were cheaper at the time) but they have recently been reformulated. I also took Omega 3 and probiotics. I don’t know whether separate ones would have been better but everything turned out ok. The cod liver oil is definitely not recommended in pregnancy due to the vitamin A content so it’s good that you stopped that. Also, have you upped your dose and organised a blood test? Check out the British Thyroid Foundation’s pages on pregnancy to get more info on that if not.
