Since I had Graves diagnosed years ago have struggled with levothyroxine alone..had RAI ...although my previous doctor gave me a private prescription for Thybon Henning Liothyronine. Which I have got - but due to house move changed doctors..present one said it would not help so I did not take it!! After years of being unwell.no energy.tired perpetually .wobbly on feet etc.. doctor prescribed increase in Levo to 100m per day and after six months I feel no better with same weary syptoms...been supplimenting D3K2 and B12 for same period..just had complete overhaul and blood panel as I kept having to sit down I felt so bad...all came back normal...hell no its not!! not for me its not...TSH. 0.08 (03 -4.5)
FT4. 21.8. (10.0- 22.0)
FT3. 4.2. (3.1- 6.8)
Think I am not a good converter and I am going to start takIng that T3 in 25mic doses for 6 weeks then increase bit by bit and the GP can go fly her kite ( which is about as useful as she has been)!!! Taking it into my own hands from now.on with the help of you all on the forum. Thank you all for your input and knowledge..starting tomorrow...hope my courage doesn't fail me!!..should I reduce Levo to 75mic from 100mic immediately or wait a week or so??

25mcg of Lio is too high a dose to add in one go. I would reduce Levo by 25mcg as your FT4 is near the top of the range, then add 10mcg Liothyronine (perhaps 5mcg am and 5mcg pm). I would retest 6-8 weeks after being on a consistent dose.
I feel your aggravation without a thyroid … If your numbers are in range your deemed “perfect” and Im getting sick and tired of dealing with my bouncing vision issues … never in my life have I had so many health issues until lost my thyroid … my health went nutz.
Thank you for your comments!! I will take it low and slow I think in view of my past history with drugs of any kind..really regret removal of thyroid..loads of probs since!!
