Hi all
I wondered if anyone may have some advice regarding 9am cortisol please.
My 9am blood cortisol has been tested a few times now and the last three tests have been 142nmol/L | 172nmol/L | 192nmol/L
(I suspect the most recent one is higher due to having an extremely stressful time before it)
I have had a total thyroidectomy and take Levo and T3 and my latest results are
TSH: <0.01
FT4: 19.5pmol/L
FT3: 6.1pmol/L
My endocrinologist doesn’t seem concerned about the cortisol but having read a little online, it sounds like it is too low? Does anybody have some advice please?
I always feel terrible but as my thyroid levels look good, I tend to put it down to my little kids and crazy job, but I’d like to understand if it’s something else?
Many thanks!
