That's something every medic/endo should know...but they are trained to treat by TSH which is nonsense....so they don't know ...and they adhere firmly to the guidelines....and patients suffer.

If you read the links I posted you will find what Dr Midgley et al had to say about TSH/ thyroid medication

This traditional distinction should be noted because the interrelationships between TSH and thyroid hormones differ on LT4 treatment from those in thyroid health

I don't think there is a verbatim record of Dr M. saying, "tsh is irrelevant once on thyroid medication"

I could be wrong!
